An innovative, world-class ensemble, well-versed in flute and piano works from the Baroque through the twentieth century. Their improvisations are especially noteworthy: using their classical training, they weave works that are often complex, poignant, and emotionally rich.

Klaus Liebetanz
flute
German-born Klaus Liebetanz, trained there and in Canada, has performed in Europe, North America, Hawaii and Asia with such groups as The Honolulu Symphony, Chamber Orchestra for Europe and Duo Liebetanz-Kolb. After many years of touring, he recently settled in Seattle, and is now performing regularly with Seattle Creative Orchestra and Duo Cantico.
Robert Jorgensen
piano
Robert Jorgensen, a native of California, has wide experience in solo, concerto, and chamber music performance as well as in original composition. His credits include an appearance at Carnegie Hall with bass-baritone Earl Meyers, and eight years on the faculty of the Summer Academy of Lilienfield, near Vienna, Austria. He is currently a faculty member at University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington.
